The pizza buffet is an ok place if you just want to stuff yourself in the fastest possible manner. The salad selection is pretty good. I would give it about 3.5 stars. There is enough variety to make it worthwhile going for a second round. The pizza is nothing special. The sauce is plain, not much flavor and the pizza seemed dry. There weren't alot of people there so it may have been sitting on the bar longer than usual. Most of the tables had crumbs on them but it wasn't terrible. I didn't eat the spaghetti or canned corn but the chicken spinach pasta was pretty good. Probably the best thing on the entire buffet. We had 2 adults and one kid with two drinks. It cost $30 which I think is more than it's worth but I have been to worse places for the price. When you pay, there is a suggested tip but there was no reason to give a tip. No one waits on you although there is one person who walks around and picks up dishes for the whole place. Maybe I'm missing something but I don't tip myself for filling my own fountain drink.

I have always loved Ken's but today will probably be my last time, the lettuce was brown, the pizza was old and stale, was like eating a saltine, the bathroom's were flooded with toilet paper all over the floors

Ken's has been a part of Tyler for as long as I can remember. I'm not sure why the negative reviews on here, but our experience has ALWAYS been positive. The lunch buffet is delicious and always well-stocked; service is always friendly, and the quality of food is what you'd expect to find on a pizza buffet. (The cheesy fried potatoes are awesome!)

Ken's IS a Tyler landmark; they've been here for years. It has something of an aged feel to it, yes, but that's a poor reason to give it a negative review. The food is great, the staff is friendly, and the buffet is always filled with fresh hot pizzas. If your only complaint is about the paneling, the decor, or the tiny little arcade they offer, stick to your bland, tasteless yuppy food joints that serve Sysco's finest canned meals and keep being sad.

My kids and I use to love this place, but it still looks the same as it did when I went there as a teen over 20 years ago. Seats are cracked, tables aren't level, ceiling tiles are stained, etc. Honestly, it doesn't look very clean. The pizza is good and the salad bar even better, but with all of the businesses around Ken's upgrading their decor into the modern age, I am starting to wonder if the owner cares to keep this business. This is a resturant desparately in need of Restruarant Impossible make over. With much renovation and care and better trained employees to keep up the pizza bar, I would continue to come. Without this, I'm looking for something better.

Meh...there are other better and less expensive pizza buffets in town, but I thought I would give it another try after years of not eating here. Pizza is average, crust is nothing to write home about and salad bar is about the only thing remotely good. Price wise almost $11 with drink during peak lunch time is not inviting. I know it's an "institution", but again other better and less expensive places in town.
